According to figures shared by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, of the total number of students allotted seats, 44,301 secured seats against their first priority and 22,340 secured seats against second priority.
TS DOST 2021: In the second phase of degree admissions in Telangana witnessed the allotment of seats to as many as 66,641 candidates. TS DOST 2021 second phase of seat allotment concluded on August 25. According to figures shared by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, of the total number of students allotted seats, 44,301 secured seats against their first priority and 22,340 secured seats against second priority. Reports also suggest that because of the limited choice of web options, a total of 8,757 candidates who exercised web options could not get seat allotment.
No seats will be considered confirmed without self-reporting and deposition of the fee. Amid the ongoing pandemic situation, all the candidates who secured seats in the second phase have to confirm them through self-reporting via online mode by paying Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 (as the case may be) in the degree online services Telangana portal. An official press release shared by TSCHE states, “The students who are allotted to the government degree colleges/university colleges and who are eligible, provisionally, for ePASS fee reimbursement (after caste and income certificate verifications), need not pay any amount for online self-reporting to reserve the allotted seat.”
The Council will conduct the registration process for TS DOST 2021 third phase of degree admission from August 27 to September 15. The facility to exercise web options will be available from August 27 to September 20. TSCHE will release seat allotment for the third phase on September 24 following which they can self-report until September 27. Student’s orientation programme in colleges will be held from September 24 to September 30 and classes shall commence from October 1.
