UG Courses: In order to pursue a course in Painting course at the undergraduate level, candidates are required to have a class 12th pass certificate in any stream from a recognised board or institute with a minimum passing mark.

Apart from this, candidates are also required to qualify for the common entrance exam like Banaras Hindu University, BHU UET, UGAT etc.

PG Courses: In order to get admission in postgraduate courses, candidates need to have an undergraduate degree with minimum passing marks. Candidates are also required to appear in the entrance exams to get admission to PG courses. Some of the entrance exams for PG courses in Painting & Drawing are GAT-B, Banasthali Vidyapith Aptitude Test etc.
