A:

Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. BHU does not descriminate people on any basis.

Q:   Will I get a direct admission in LPU with 65 % marks in Class 12?

MFA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in pursuing MFA course can check the space below to know about the eligibility criteria for MFA:

  • Candidates must have completed Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or any other equivalent degree from a recognised institute or university.
  • Candidate must have secured the minimum aggregate percentage (usually 50% - 60%) as stipulated by an institution in which a candidate is applying for admission.
  • Meanwhile, sometimes candidates with a bachelor degree in Humanities are also eligible for MFA course.

Note: Eligibility criteria for MFA course might differ depending on the policies of the institution in which a candidate is applying.

Q:   Can I get admission at BHU without an entrance exam?

A:

BHU admission to most of the courses is entrance-based, hence it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams to get admission to BHU undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, aspirants need to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for B.Ed at Rabindra Bharati University?

A:

No, there is no entrance exam for getting admission to B.Ed course of Rabindra Bharati University. The performance of candidate in bachelor's degree is evaluated for admission. Rabindra Bharati University considers the merit in the last qualifying exam for admission to B.Ed programme. The university releases a selection list on the official website of the university to announce the names of the selected aspirants.

Q:   Who is eligible for BCom Honours course admission at BHU?

A:

BHU offers a three-year full-time BCom (Hons) course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To be eligible for BHU BCom (Hons) courses, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer Science/ Finance/ Financial Markets Management/ Vocational Courses (related to commerce) as one of the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The minimum age limit to apply for this course should not be more than 22 years on 1st July of the admission year (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July of 2001). 

Q:   Is there any entrance exam for NIMS University?

A:

NIMS University conducts its own entrance exam-NIMSEE to offer candidates admission in various UG and PG courses offered at the university. NIMSEE is a national level entrance exam which is conducted once a year and the mode of the entrance exam is offline i.e. pen and paper test. The exam is valid for various courses like BSc, MSc, BTech, MBA, etc. Apart from NIMSEE, the university also accepts national-level entrance exams like NEET, JEE Main, etc. for admission to specific courses. 

Q:   Do I have to take an entrance exam to pursue a PhD in English Literature from BHU?

A:
BHU offers Ph.D. courses in different subjects like Bengali, English Hindi Sanskrit, Mathematics etc. To be eligible for these courses, candidates need to have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the relevant subject at postgraduate level. Bhu conducts its entrance exam I. e BHU RET to select students for their Ph.D. courses. The selection of the student is based on the merit obtained in the BHU RET.

The NIMS University offers students admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Fine Arts, Performing Arts and Visual Arts.
