Difference between JEE Main and JEE Advanced

IIT JEE is one of the milestones that the engineering aspirants need to cross in order to get into the elite IITs. Around 10-12 lakh students appear every year in JEE Main out of which just 2.5 lakh from all categories would make it to the JEE Advanced. Moreover, students coming in the top 20 percentile of their class 12boards and who get through the JEE Advanced would finally feature in the final merit list of the IITs.
