IIT Bombay Scholarships:

Moreover, IIT Bombay offers scholarships to provide financial help for students pursuing undergraduate courses. There are three kinds of scholarships:

  • Institute Scholarship: Means-cum-Merit scholarship
  • Institute Scholarship: Free Messing Facilities to SC/ST category students
  • Private Scholarship: Named Scholarship

INR 1,000 awarded per month for each semester

Also, Tuition Fee Exempted to a maximum of 25% sanctioned Intake of UG students

Note: Dual degree student can benefit till 8 semesters only.

 

 

Institute Scholarship: Free Messing Facilities to SC/ST category students

Means Criteria: Family Income not more than INR 4,50,000/-

Students not availing any other scholarship from Central or State Government

Free of cost Basic Menu Mess Food

Mess Allowance of INTR 250 per month

Exemption from Hostel Rent

Note: Dual degree student can benefit till 8 semesters only.

 

Private Scholarship:

Named Scholarship

Merit Criteria: Candidates taking admission in first semester of any 4-year Bachelor degree and Dual Degree B.Tech - M.Tech. In order of JEE All India Rank holders

Means Criteria: Family Income not more than INR 4,50,000/-

Academic Criteria: Semester Performance Index in the first semester of Bachelor degree and next semester onwards, Cumulative Performance Index will be considered.
