MU-OET 2016 Syllabus

MU OET 2016 is an online entrance test for admissions to various engineering courses in Manipal University. The exam is stated to be conducted from April 14, 2016 to May 18, 2016. Interested candidates must submit their applications on or before March 11, 2016 for a successful registration. Check out the MU OET 2016 important dates are available here!

Candidates can secure their seats for various engineering courses with Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score in MU OET 2016 exam.

This paper will include questions based on general English such as spotting of errors, sentence improvement, vocabulary etc.

Duration of this engineering entrance exam conducted by Manipal University is 2.5 hours and it consists a total number of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ). The total number of question in MU OET 2016 will be distributed as follows:

MU OET 2016 exam pattern of Lateral B.Tech is different from that of B.Tech, B.Pharm & PharmMD. It conducts a one hour long examination with total number of questions distributed as follows:

  • Mathematic- 50
  • Physics-10
  • Chemistry-10
  • Communication Skills in English-20.

BSc graduates with Mathematics as their main subject have questions distributed as follows:

  • Mathematics- 70
  • Communication Skills in English- 20
