UPSEE: Popular colleges accepting UPSEE scores

UPSEE is conducted every year by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). The exam is conducted to offer admission to aspirants in various programmes such as BTech, BArch, B Pharma, BHMCT, BFA, MBA, MCA, etc.

The admission process to various programmes offered by the institute ended in the month of April. UPSEE 2015 for engineering programmes was conducted on April 19, 2015. The result of the exam were announced on May 20, 2015. Take a look at important dates of UPSEE 2015.

Candidates qualifying the exam can secure admission to BTech programmes offered in numerous institutes in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Some of the famous institutes that provide admissions to the interested students to their Engineering courses on the basis of the UPSEE are:

1. Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad

Also known as IPEC, the Inderprastha Engineering College is a private engineering institute in Ghaziabad. It is one of the most renowned engineering colleges of UPTU and provides B Tech courses in multiple disciplines.

2. JK Institute of Applied Physics & Technology, Allahabad

Situated in Allahabad, JK Institute of Applied Physics & Technology is known as one of the most prestigious colleges in India. The institute offers B Tech programmes in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science.

3. Harcourt Butler Technological Institute , Kanpur

This institute is spread across two campuses, namely, the east campus and the west campus, and is affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow. It offers a total of 13 undergraduate engineering programmes (BTech Degree) in multiple disciplines.

4. BN College of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow

Affiliated to UPTU, this institute offers BTech in Computer Science & Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Instrumentation.

5. Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh

A constituent of Aligarh Muslim University, this institute offers BTech in multiple disciplines such as Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and in several other fields.

6. Shiv Nadar University , Dadri

This is one of the famous universities that consider UPSEE scores for admission to engineering programmes. It offers BTech programmes in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, to name a few.

7. Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur

Established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, this institute is famous for its Engineering and Technology courses. The institute provides B Tech programmes in multiple disciplines.

8. Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute Of Technology, Lucknow

Famous for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, this institute offers BTech in branches like Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and a few more.

9. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow

The institute is famous for imparting and promoting engineering education as well as technological research. The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow offers BTech programmes in various disciplines.

10. Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College, Lucknow

The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programmes. It offers BTech degree programmes in branches such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.
