Conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), the last Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) was held from 29th-30th January, 2012 in 48 cities and 51 centers across the country.
An actuary is a business professional who analyzes the financial consequences of risk.
It is an entry level exam for aspirants who wish to make their career in the field of actuaries. Conducted twice a year and it is a computer-based exam.
To be eligible for this exam, one must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects at 10 + 2 level.
