CIMA announces 5th Global Business Challenge for 2013CIMA is set to challenge the business leaders across India again with the 5th edition of the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2013! It’s a global case study competition open to full-time undergraduates of public & private colleges and universities.

What started with a participation of 5700 students from eight countries and 125 universities in the year 2009 has grown into a truly global competition and witnessed a participation of more than 30,000 students from 22 different countries and over 400 universities in 2012. With over 1,25,000 different viewers engaged via the internet, GBC 2012 also saw a Facebook fan following of over 12,000 people from India and 30,000 people across the globe.

This year’s case challenge is based on the Toy industry. Teams are expected to analyse, report and present it to the eminent panel of judges. The Indian winners of the GBC 2013 will compete at the global level in South Africa against the lead teams from 24 countries – Australia, Bangladesh, China, Ghana, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, the Middle East, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, UK, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
