Federal Bank partners MaGE for Banking Training Program

Federal Bank has signed a MoU with Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE) for a one-year residential full-time Banking Training Program. Designed for trainee officers of Federal Bank Ltd, the program would offer domain knowledge in various areas of Banking and Finance as well as enhances one’s competency level and soft skills.

The programme will include nine months of intensive campus training, followed by three months of internship at a Federal Bank branch. On successful completion of the program, students will be offered PG Diploma in Banking & Finance, awarded by ManipalUniversity and will be absorbed as Probationary Officers (Pos) by Federal Bank. Federal Bank will fund the entire course fee for the program as special education loan for students. Students can also benefit by ‘earn while you learn’ stipends during the tenure of the course.

The first batch of this customised banking training program will commence in November 2012 at the Banking Training Campus of MaGE in Bangalore. An online test at the all India level followed by personal interview will be conducted to select students.
