To keep pace with international standards of accounting, a ‘Master Class’ on IFRS (International Financial Reporting standards) is being organised today (Wednesday). The class/workshop is meant for finance students and professionals, and participants will be told about the  IFRS issued by the Inter-national Accounting Standards Board (IASB). IFRS is gaining global importance and this can be guaged from the fact that more than 12,000 companies from 100 different countries, including the listed European Union companies, have already adopted IFRS. The venue of workshop is The Imperial Hotel, New Delhi where it will start at 9.30 in morning.
