NSE to offer PGED in financial markets
The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. is set to start a post graduate executive diploma course in financial markets (PGED-FM) for working professionals. To offer this program, National Stock Exchange of India Ltd has collaborated with the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics (GIPE), a deemed university at Pune.
It is expected that the financial sector will generate over one crore jobs within this decade. NSE aims to create skilled professionals who can meet the growing needs of the financial sector.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for this program, one must possess a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and at least two years of work experience. Professional qualifications like CA, CS, CFA, MBA etc. would add glitter to your profile.
The selection procedure is completely based on scrutiny of applications and interviews.
It will be a one year integrated programme and classes will be held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) in Pune and Mumbai. On the successful completion of the program, diploma will be awarded by the Gokhale Institute of Politics & Economics.
