Pre-exam training for banking entrance

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is all set to conduct the second Common Written Examination (CWE-PO/ MT-II) for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer / Management Trainee posts. All the selected candidates will get placement in the 19 public sector banks.
Under this pre-examination training, a limited number of aspirants who belong to special castes like Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities will get training.
This training will be imparted to aspirants who have registered at below mentioned centers:

You can opt for pre-examination training at the moment you fill up the online application. The tentative date for the written examination is 17th June, 2012.
Students have to bear the travel and living expenses themselves to attend the training program at the designated centers. However, IBPS have right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centers and/ or add some other Centers and/ or make alternate arrangements, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
All the candidates, planning to attend pre-examination training should not take it as a part of selection process. This course is meant to clarify your doubts and should not be taken as a selection process.
CWE has been approved by the Government of India for recruitment of probationary officers/management trainees. It has also received the consent of the Boards of each of the participating banks and the managing committee of the Indian Banks' Association (IBA).
After clearing the exam, one needs to apply to any of the participating bank, with your personal details and your CWE scores. Then each bank will individually shortlist candidates and carry out their own selection processes such as Group Discussions and/ or Interviews etc. for final selection.
