Q: Can I appear for IPMAT more than once?
No, IPMAT is conducted only once a year. Candidates have to wait for the next session if they miss this year's exam. The IPMAT exam is being conducted in the CBT (computer-based test) mode. Based on the IPM Aptitude Test scores, students can apply for admission to integrated management programme offered by the prestigious Indian Institute of Managment, Indore. The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode for all the sessions across various cities. Candidates who wish to appear for the IPMAT exam need to apply on the official website of IIM Indore and fill out the IPMAT application form once the application window opens. The application process for all the courses at Christ (Deemed-to-be University) closes approximately a week before the scheduled selection process. The admission registration fee is INR 5,000 for all programmes. Candidates must follow the following steps for online application:

Step 2: Select the school under Christ University where the desired course is offered.
Step 3: Select the desired course and click on 'Apply Now' written against it.
Step 4: Register as a new user by entering the name, contact number, email-id and create a password.
Step 5: Log in to the portal using the created login credentials in step two. Fill in the application form, and attach the passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms; formal dress with white background).
Step 6: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

No, Maths is not a mandatory requirement but mathematics is a part of exam. Even the students from non-mathematics background are eligible to appear for the UGAT exam. The eligibility criteria for IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) may vary slightly each year. However, based on the general eligibility criteria, the following criteria are typically applicable:
Age Limit: Applicants belonging to the General or NC OBC category must not be more than 20 years of age as of July 31, 2025, at the time of filling the IPMAT application form 2025. The age should not be more than 22 years as of July 31, 2025, for the applicants belonging to SC, ST, PwD (DA) categories. Candidates belonging to the Foreign Nationals category must have been born on or after August 1, 2005.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from arecognisedboard or institution. The qualifying examination should be completed in the year of the IPMAT exam or in the preceding two years.
Minimum Percentage: General and Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) category candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 standard examinations. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks is required.
