Q:   Is IPMAT IIM Indore better than IIM Rohtak's IPMAT?

A:

IPMAT and IPM Aptitude Test (IIM Rohtak) have similar syllabus but the difficulty level is different. Both exams have Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections. However, IIM Rohtak's IPMAT exam has an additional section- Logical Reasoning. While IPM Aptitude Test is an easy exam, IIM Indore's IPMAT is moderately tough but to say which is better totally depends upon the college a candidate is targeting for the five-year integrated programme. The participating colleges for both exams are different. If a candidate's dream college accepts IPMAT score, then they should appear for IPMAT exam. The IPMAT exam conducted by IIM Indore is accepted by other institutes such as IIFT, IIM Ranchi, Nirma University,  Alliance University,  NICMAR University,  Department of Management Studies and NALSAR University of Law. The benefit of IPMAT by IIM Indore is that the exam is accepted by multiple top management insitutes in country, whereas the one conducted by IIM Rohtak is only accepted by IIM Rohtak.

Q:   Is 60 marks good in NPAT?

A:

As per the feedback received from the candidates who have qualified in the previous exam sessions, a score between 69 and 71 in NPAT is generally considered a good score for securing admission into SVKM's NMIMS Mumbai campus. However, it is important to note that admission to the institution is subject to various other factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the cutoff set by the college. Therefore, even if you score within this range, it is advisable to keep a backup option and apply to other colleges as well.

Q:   Is IIM Indore BBA better than IIM Rohtak?

A:

When comparing IIM Indore's BBA programme to IIM Rohtak's, both institutions offer excellent education and infrastructure, outstanding faculty, and resources. However, there are differences to consider. IIM Indore is ranked 8th for MBA, while IIM Rohtak is ranked 16th. The Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at both institutes has distinct features such as location, faculty, course structure, and alumni network. The curriculum of IPM differs from a regular BBA course by including subjects from humanities, arts, and social studies alongside commerce and business studies-related subjects. Additionally, the IPM programme provides a holistic development approach over five years compared to a traditional BBA course

2. Different Institutes

Post a BBA degree, candidates can opt to select a different university or B-school for their management education. However, students pursuing a five-year integrated BBA MBA programme have no such option. Many students prefer to pursue MBA courses from premier B-schools such as Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or other top MBA colleges. Pursuing a separate MBA degree helps candidates be a part of two institutions.

Alternately, in a five-year integrated MBA programme, candidates don’t have the option of changing institutes.

3. Entrance tests

In the case of an Integrated MBA degree, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam/selection procedure just once. However, in the case of separate degrees, candidates have to undergo admission and selection procedures twice. In the latter situation, candidates generally opt for exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT etc. Top institutes such as IIMs offer integrated programmes on the basis of the score in entrance exams- CUET, IIM Indore IPMAT, IIM Rohtak IPMATNPAT, UGAT, MUCMET.

4. Work Experience

5. Course Fee

The course fee of Integrated MBA is more than BBA and MBA programmes, as the institute's expenditure on the student is for five continuous years. Therefore, for many students, Integrated BBA will be more expensive than a three year BBA programme.
