DU JAT 2016

The application process for DU JAT 2016 started on May 13 and will go on till May 31, 2016. The undergraduate management test is conducted for admission in Management Studies -- BMS/BBA (FIA)/B.A (Hons), Business Economics courses offered by several Delhi University colleges for 840 seats.

The entrance exam will be held on June 20, 2016.

BBA colleges in Delhi

BMS is offered by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Maharaja Agrasen College, College of Vocational Studies and B R Ambedkar College.

BBA (FIA) is offered by Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, while B.A (Hons) Business Economics is offered by 10 colleges of the central university.

The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam may fill the application form online. The application form is available on the official website of DU JAT. The applicants will be required to furnish the following details while filling up the form.

  • XII board marksheet
  • Father’s name
  • Address
  • Email ID
  • Scanned passport size photo
  • Phone number
  • Scanned signature and photo
  • Annual family income in INR

The application fees can be paid in online mode through debit/credit card. Fees for General and OBC category students is Rs 500 and for SC/ST/PWD category it is Rs. 250.

Mimimum marks required to appear for the exam is 60% for General Category, 54% for OBC, 55% for CW/PWD and 50% for SC/ST candidates. The candidate must have passing marks in English and Maths to be able to apply for DU JAT.

Career prospects after doing BBA, BMS

Test pattern:

The online aptitude test will be of 2 hours. The question paper will carry 120 multiple choice questions for 360 marks. The candidates will be required to answer questions on Quantitative Ability, General English and Business, Reasoning & Analytical Ability & General Awareness. There will be negative marking for wrong answer. Each question will carry 3 marks but one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Important dates:

Last date of submitting the application form is May 31, 2016.

Admit cards for the entrance test are likely to be available in the first week of July.

The exam will be held on June 20, 2016.

Result will be declared on July 4.

Counselling for admissions to the colleges will start after result declaration.
