DU JAT 2021 Toppers (Released): List of Top 20 Rank Holders

The rank list of DU JAT 2021 has been released. Check the list of DU JAT 2021 toppers here along with JAT score, best four percentage, final score and rank.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the DU JAT 2021 result (scorecard) on October 27. Candidates can download the DU JAT scorecard online at nta.ac.in. A total of 20,368 candidates applied for the DU JAT 2021. Delhi University has now released the DU JAT rank list compiled based on JAT score and Class 12 best four scores. With the release of the rank list, the pass percentage can now be analysed. Delhi University notified the release of ranks for admission on October 25. However, due to unforeseen delays in the DU JAT results, the rank list has been delayed to October 28. DU JAT 2021 exam was conducted on September 27. The rank list of DU JAT comprises registration number, roll number, candidate’s name, JAT score, best of four percentage, final score, UR rank, and category rank. Admission to DU JAT participating colleges is based on merit rank.

In 2020, as many as 19,614 candidates took the exam. Out of the total candidates, 16,530 qualified the exam and 3,084 were disqualified. This article brings to you the list of DU JAT toppers.

DU JAT Toppers 2021: JAT Score vs Normalised Score

DU JAT is conducted in more than one shift; therefore, the normalisation process is considered before the allotment of rank. JAT score might increase or decrease during the normalisation process. The table below mentions the JAT scores along with the normalised scores of DU JAT 2021 toppers.

How to Check DU JAT Rank List?

Candidates can check the DU JAT 2021 rank list in an online mode. The stepwise procedure to check the DU JAT rank list is as follows:

1st Step: Visit the official admission portal of Delhi University, i.e. admission.uod.ac.in

2nd Step: Click on the link reading ‘JAT Admissions’

3rd Step: On the redirected window, candidates will find a link reading ‘Rank Wise Result for Admission to BMS, BBA (FIA) and BBE’

4th Step: The PDF hosts the names of all the DU JAT 2021 qualified candidates

Allotment of DU JAT 2021 Ranks

Delhi University allots the DU JAT rank based on the JAT percentile score and best four scores of Class 12. The JAT score and Class 12 best four scores are scaled-down as mentioned in the table below:

The compiled score is the final score considered for the DU JAT rank allotment. The highest scorer is allotted rank #1 while the DU JAT rank list preparation. Similarly, the second-highest scorer is allotted rank #2 and so on.

DU JAT Tie-Breaking Criteria

As discussed, DU JAT ranks are allotted considering the JAT score and Class 12 best four percentage. There can be cases when the final score of two or more candidates is the same. Delhi University follows the below-mentioned procedure to break ties and allot ranks to the candidates:

1. Candidates having a higher percentage in the best four subjects will be preferred for the merit rank allotment
2. In case the tie is still not broken, a candidate having a higher score in DU JAT will be preferred
3. In case the tie still persists, the percentage of candidates in the best five subjects including one language in Class 12 is considered first
4. If the tie prevails again, candidates who are older in age as per the Class 10 certificate will be preferred for the rank allotment 

What After Release of DU JAT Rank List?

The rank list comprises the names of all the qualified candidates. Exam qualifiers can participate in the DU JAT counselling. These candidates can use a login window to make changes in the college-course preferences marked at the time of DU JAT registration. Delhi University will release DU JAT allotment lists in three rounds followed by spot rounds depending upon the vacancy status. The allotment lists have the names of candidates who are selected for BBA (FIA), BMS and BBE admission in the DU JAT participating colleges.

Selected candidates need to apply at the DU JAT admission portal to accept the allotted college followed by payment of the admission fee.
