Go for the skies with MTech Aviation from University of Pune

Eligibility

BE or B Tech degree in any branch from a recognised university

Duration

Two years

Course commencement

September 1, 2013

Student intake

24 seats each semester or 48 seats every year

Cost

Approx Rs 55 lakhs (Cost to cover medical, insurance and flying license expenses, Travel, lodging and boarding expenses to be borne separately by students); UoP will also help students to secure loans from banks

Semester studies

First semester studies at UoP's department of technology; remaining three semesters, each of six months' duration, involve onsite training at FFL facilities in Germany

Onsite training

Onsite training would encompass a lot of ground studies, soft skills, communication and team building activities

Training hours

800 hours of flying exercises during onsite activity

Award of degree & Flying License

MTech (Aviation) degree to be awarded by University of Pune. On successful completion of course, students will get a European flying license by German aviation regulator LBA, enabling them to fly in Europe.

DGCA License for India & Asia Pacific

To earn an Indian flying license, interested students will be required to clear tests administered by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India. This license will stand valid for flying in the Asia Pacific region as well.
