MDIS announces Merit scholarship for international students

The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), a not-for-profit professional institutes has now announced a merit scholarship and a Study Credit Scheme worth SGD 4.00 million for international students. The scholarships and grants will eventually help close to 2,000 international students from across the world.

The MDIS International Students Merit Scholarship is an initiative aimed at providing high-caliber students the opportunity to develop to their full potential. It offers scholarships to outstanding students pursuing their studies with MDIS. The MDIS International Students Merit Scholarship is open to new students seeking a Pre Degree, Degree or Master’s Degree. The scholarship will cover the subsidised portion of the tuition fee payable by International students.

MDIS has also been associated with the University of Sunderland, UK for over ten years; this association would now offer a new one year MBA course. This is a well-established university which trains students on practical business approach at affordable tuition fees.    

MDIS, founded in 1956 is voted one of the top three in the Best Private School category at a red carpet award ceremony for the Asia One People's Choice Awards 2013.

MDIS provides well-accredited courses through academic programs in collaboration with highly acclaimed universities in Australia, France, UK and the US.  

MDIS Campus at Stirling Road occupies a three-hectare land area. The MDIS Residences@Stirling is the first hostel in Singapore to be awarded the Green Mark Gold Plus Award. Costing S$80 million, the new 15-storey hostel consists of 782 air-conditioned rooms, 14 suites, a lecture theatre and cafeteria.
