How I got my life back on track after a setback: Prabhash Ranjan Nath

I performed miserably, both in my Boards and JEE. In no time, I found myself in a place where I could see all doors closed in front of me. Though words of encouragement were always there from my parents, but during those days of hardship, my brother became by guiding light. My brother was always there with me throughout my highs and lows – he is my role model and Guru. He was the one who put my career back on track when it was completely derailed. In January, 2017, he informed me about O.P Jindal Global University and that is when my life took a turn for the better. 

Why this university which is 1700 kms away from my home?

Simply because it’s worth it. The professors and the infrastructure of the University is simply amazing.

That is because of the numbers of presentations we give. Also, we have collaborations with more than 100 universities. The best part is that we can also do research under professors right from the very beginning. Apart from the academics, there are a lot of fun things to do. Pool and billiards are my favourites. 

Why BBA (Hons)?

I opted for BBA (Hons) because I have the option to study every aspect of business like Finance, Marketing, HR etc., and then I will get to choose a specialisation in a specific field. Also, this gives me the option of choosing MBA or pursuing Masters in one of the above-mentioned fields. 

The University also grants scholarships if you fulfil certain criteria, and I can proudly say that I am one of those students who have got a scholarship. The benefit of this is that you get recognised by everyone. 

Now, I can proudly say that my decision to join O P Jindal Global University was the best decision of my life.
