Assam HS Results 2020 Declared! Assam Board announced the AHSEC Results 2020 today i.e. June 25, 2020. Students who appeared for the HS Assam Board Exams 2020 can check their HS Assam Results 2020 at ahsec.nic.in. If the students are unable to view their AHSEC Results 2020 then they are advised to wait for some time as the server slows down due to heavy traffic.

According to the statistics released after the declaration of the AHSEC Results 2020, 78.28% students passed in Arts stream, 88.18% in commerce stream, and 88.06% in Science stream. Students who are not satisfied with their result can apply for rechecking from June 27, 2020.

  • Rank 2 - Nayeema Firdous Borbhuyan from Concept Junior College, Nagaon secured 482 marks

  • A total of 25 students secured the top 10 ranks.

  • Rank 1 - Shraddha Borgohain from Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon secured 481 marks in arts stream.

AHSEC Results 2020 Stream-wise Pass Percentage and Toppers

Assam HS Passing Percentage in Arts

78.28 per cent of total students cleared the Arts stream exam successfully. Pubali Deka and Shraddha Bogohain topped from Humanities with 481 marks (96.2 per cent). A total of 1.6 lakh (1,68,367) candidates appeared in the exam. 

Assam HS Pass Percentage in Commerce

88.18 per cent of the total students cleared the Commerce stream exam successfully. Krishna Maheshwari topped from Commerce with 471 marks (94.2 per cent). A total of 17,713 candidates appeared in the exam.

Assam HS Pass Percentage in Science

88.06 per cent of the students cleared the Science stream exam successfully. Abhinash Kalita topped from Science with 486 marks (97.2 per cent). A total of 39,574 candidates appeared in the exam

Following the past trends, the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, AHSEC released the AHSEC Results 2020 at 9 am. The Board’s chairman Dr Dayananda Borgohain confirmed the AHSEC Results 2020 date. Students can also check their 12th board results on the official website at assamresults.nic.in.

As many as 2.34 lakh candidates were waiting to check their HS Results 2020 Assam. According to the AHSEC Date Sheet 2020, Assam Board 12th exams were conducted from February 12 to March 14, 2020, this time at 772 exam centres. While the AHSEC Board Exams 2020 concluded way before the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the Country, the AHSEC Board evaluation process got delayed due to the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the virus.

According to the updates received from Pankaj Borthakur, Assam Higher Secondary Exam Controller, all the higher secondary schools of Assam will also receive the Assam HS results 2020 in a pdf format. The candidates would be able to collect their mark sheet and certificate from their schools within one week of the declaration of results.

Assam HS Results 2020 Passing Marks

The pass marks for subjects having no practical exam is 30% of the total marks. Also, the qualifying marks for a subject having practical exams are 30% for the theory part and 40% for the practical part. In order to pass Assam HS exams 2020 students need to qualify both theory part and practical part separately.

Students who appeared for the HS Assam Board Exams 2020 can check their AHSEC Results 2020 by following the simple steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Assam Board- ahsec.nic.in

Step 2: Navigate the link provided for Assam HS Result 2020 and click on it

Step 3: Enter roll number mentioned on the AHSEC HS Admit Card 2020, and captcha in spaces provided on the login page

Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’. The Assam Board 12th result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of the provisional Assam HS Result. Retain the same until original mark sheets are issued.

  • Open the SMS application on mobile phone
  • Type ASSAM12
  • Send the SMS to 56263
  • The Assam higher secondary result 2020 will be sent on the same number.

Students can access their Assam higher secondary result 2020 through the official application - Upolobdha by following the steps given below:

  • Open the Play Store app on the mobile
  • Search for the app ‘Upolobdha’ and download it
  • Open the app and enter the student's roll code, roll number, and captcha code
  • Click on ‘Get Result’ and Assam HS result 2020 will be displayed on the screen

Q: What if I’m unable to check the result online after it is released?

A: As soon as the results are declared online, a number of students log on to the website to check their results. This causes traffic and brings down the speed. It is advised that students visit the official website regularly after some intervals to access their results.

Q:  Where will the results be available? 

A: Students will be able to check the board results on ahsec.nic.in

Q: How should I check my Assam Class 12th result 2020, if I have misplaced my admit card?

A: In such a case, students are advised to contact their school authorities.

Q: What should I do after the result is declared?

A: Students must ensure that the personal information on the mark sheet is correct and in case there is some discrepancy, they should report the authority. Thereafter, they should collect their original mark sheet from their respective schools.

Q: Can I contact AHSEC to increase my marks in case of any discrepancy?

A: No, this cannot be done. However, if there has been a dispute regarding the award of correct marks, then reviewing the answer sheet can be filed as per the procedure mentioned above.

Q: Can I check my result via SMS?

A: Yes, you can check your result through SMS. In order, to check ASSAM Class 12th result via SMS type ASSAM12(Roll Number) and send it to 56263.

A: The Assam HS Result will include the following details:

  • Roll number
  • Name of school
  • Subject name and code
  • Marks obtained in the theory and practical exams

Q: Can I apply for revaluation or rechecking of my answer sheets?

A: Students who are not satisfied with their Assam Board 12th result 2020 can apply for revaluation or rechecking of their results. Students will have to fill the application form and submit the revaluation fee. 

Q: How can I get my migration certificate?

A: Assam Board will send the migration certificate of all the students to their respective schools. Students can collect the same from there.

Q: My name is misspelled in the result card. What should I do?

A: In such a case, contact your school authorities on an urgent basis and make sure the correction is done to avoid any problem in the future.

Q: What if I am unable to clear the Assam HS exam 2020?

A: Candidates who are unable to secure pass marks in one or more subjects will have to appear for the Compartment exams, which are expected to be held in the last week of August, after the declaration of result.
