As not much time is left for CBSE to declare CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020, let’s discuss the CBSE 10th 12th Marking Scheme 2020 for the cancelled CBSE Board Exams 2020.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to release the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th results 2020 soon. CBSE) announced the cancellation of CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams. However, Class 12 students can choose to appear for the pending board exams when the normalcy is restored. On June 26, 2020, the Board released the official notice regarding the cancellation of the CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020. In the notice, the Board also declared that CBSE Results 2020 i.e. CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th Results 2020 will be released by July 15, 2020. According to the official notice, CBSE will release CBSE Results 2020 on the basis of internal assessment and student's performance in the exams that were conducted before the COVID-19 lockdown. Latest Reports suggests that the Board is trying its best to release CBSE Results 2020 at cbse.nic.in before July 15.

CBSE Results 2020: CBSE 10th 12th Marking Scheme

The continuous postponement of the CBSE Board Exams 2020 and cancellation of the CBSE 10th Board Exams 2020 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2020 created a lot of stress, anxiety and confusion among the students. While exams of CBSE 10th students are cancelled all across the nation, CBSE 12th students still have an option to appear for a special exam once normalcy is restored in order to improve their 12th board results.

As not much time is left for CBSE to declare CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020, let’s discuss the CBSE 10th 12th Marking Scheme 2020 for the cancelled CBSE Board Exams 2020.

(a) Marking Scheme Students who appeared for ALL the CBSE 10th 12th Exams 2020

For the students of both classes-X and XII, who have completed all their examinations, their results will be declared based on their performance in the examinations.

(b) Marking Scheme for Students who appeared for MORE THAN THREE CBSE Board Exams 2020

 For students who have appeared in the examinations in more than 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.

(c) Marking Scheme for Students who appeared for only THREE CBSE Board Exams 10th 12th 2020

For students who have appeared in the examinations in only 3 subjects, the average of the marks obtained in the best two performing subjects will be awarded in the subjects whose examinations have not been conducted.

(d) Marking Scheme for Students who appeared for only ONE or TWO CBSE Board Exams 2020

There are very few students of class-Xll, mainly from Delhi, who have appeared in the examinations in only 1 or 2 subjects. Their results will be declared based on performance in the appeared subjects and performance in internal/practical/project assessment. These students will also be allowed to appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE to improve their performance, if they desire to do so. Result of these students will also be declared along with other students.
