CBSE 10th Topper 2024 Anushka Mallick with 99% wants to pursue higher studies from Oxford University

CBSE 10th Topper Anushka Mallick has secured 99%, i.e. a total of 495 marks in CBSE 10th Board Exams 2024 with utmost dedication and hard work. Anushka, a student of SAI International School, Odisha, aims to crack JEE exam and pursue BTech from Top Engineering institutes in India. She also wants to pursue her higher studies from Oxford University. In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Mallick talked about her CBSE 10th board exam preparation routine, her reaction to Class 10 CBSE results, tips for upcoming aspirants and more.

CBSE Board Exams 2024 were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024. The Board announced the CBSE Class 10 Results 2024 on May 13.

Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?

A: I was overwhelmed with joy as soon as I got to see my results.It was truly amazing to see my parents and my teachers so happy.Yes,I scored what I had expected.

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.

A: My father is an engineer, and my mother has a PG degree.

Q: Please tell me about the stream that you are targeting.

A: I am going for the science stream as I want to go for engineering.

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?

A: My strategy to score above 95% was to be consistent throughout the year,which includes revising the topics that have been taught the same day and being up to date with my assignments.

Q: Did you take any online or offline coaching?
A: Yes, I did opt for tuition.

Q: Who encouraged you the most in this journey?

A: My family has always been my biggest supporter and they are my biggest motivators to work hard.

Q: What was your routine during the CBSE board exam preparation?
A: During the preparation time I used to first revise the ncert books and then go for my notes followed by sample papers and pyq

Q:What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming for?
A: I am currently preparing for JEE and I aim to become an engineer.

Q: What is your favourite subject?
A: My favourite subject is Mathematics.

Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?

A: Yes I am planning to prepare for JEE and SAT

Q: What is your dream college/institute?
A: My dream college/university includes IIT/Oxford University

Q: What are your future goals?
A: My future goal is to keep on working hard in all my endeavours.
