CBSE 12th Results 2020 Declared: No Toppers List To be Released
According to the reports, The result for 400 students could not be released as the Board was unable to compute it as per the decided assessment scheme.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) DECLARED the CBSE 12th results 2020 today i.e. July 13, 2020. The wait is finally over for the 12 lakh students who were waiting for the CBSE 12th Results 2020. The students who appeared for the CBSE 12th Board Exams 2020 can check their CBSE 12th Results 2020 on the official site of the Board i.e. cbse.nic.in. Just like previous year, CBSE declared the results for all the streams altogether i.e. science, commerce and arts. As everyone is aware that CBSE cancelled the pending 12th Board Exams due to the rising COVID-19 positive cases in the country. The Board released the CBSE 12th results on the basis of the decided assessment scheme. However, according to the reports, The result for 400 students could not be released as the Board was unable to compute it as per the decided assessment scheme. The Board has decided to announce the result of these students later on on the official site of CBSE results at cbse.nic.in.
Amid this, CBSE also decided not to release any merit list for the Class 2 students. The reports suggest that CBSE would not release any CBSE 12th Toppers List 2020. A total of 12,03,595 candidates registered for the board examinations this year. Of the total, 11.92 lakh students appeared for the examination. The overall pass percentage for CBSE 12th Result 2020 is 88.78%, which is 5.38% better than in 2019.
According to the stats, girls outshone boys with 92.15 percent and boys' pass percentage is 86.19 percent. The overall pass percentage of transgender is 66.67 percent. CBSE also decided to replace the term ‘FAIL’ by the term ‘Essential Repeat’. Apart from the official websites, candidates can check their digital mark sheets, passing and migration certificates, skill certificates on the DigiLocker.
CBSE 12th Results 2020 stats also suggest that among the regions, Trivandrum scored the highest pass percentage of 97.67 percent. The second position is secured by Bengaluru with 97.5 percent and the third position is acquired by Chennai with 96.17 percent.
Institution wise stats reveal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) secured 98.7 percent, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) secured 98.62 percent, and CSTA with 98.23 percent. The examination center increased this year in comparison to last year. Last year the exam was conducted in 4627 centers and this year the examination was conducted in 4984 centers.
Meanwhile, the release date of the CBSE Class 10 Result 2020 is yet to be announced. According to the previous reports, CBSE said that it will announce Class 10, 12 results by July 15. There are chances that CBSE can announce CBSE 10th Results 2020 anytime soon.
