Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE collaborates with Facebook India to launch training programs for teachers and students amid the ongoing COCID-19 pandemic. The Board along with the social media platform brought an Augmented Reality training program for teachers and Digital safety training for students. During its first phase, the CBSE training programs will be free of cost for both teachers and students in its affiliated schools from August to November 2020 in virtual mode. The registration for these training programs starts today i.e. July 6. Schools must know that the last day to register is July 20, 2020. Each of the programs will have 10000 seats each for teachers and students. The CBSE along with Facebook will commence the students’ program from August 6 and teachers' program from August 10 onwards.
The Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank took his twitter handle to share the news and appreciate the initiative. In his tweet, he wrote, “I appreciate the initiative launched by @cbseindia29 and @Facebook India to introduce training programs in Augumented Reality for teachers & Digital Safety for students. I encourage teachers and students to join these programs at http://cbseacademic.nic.in/fb/training.html.”

According to the official notice released by CBSE Academics, AR and digital safety programs for 30000 students in each category will be introduced by the Board. Schools will have to nominate their teachers and students for the training programs separately on the official link available on the Board’s website i.e. cbse.nic.in. The list of teh selected teachers and students will be uploaded on the Board's website. The official notice released by CBSE in this regards is given below.
Meanwhile, CBSE is all set to announce the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th results 2020 by July 15. The Board cancelled the CBSE 10th Board exams 2020 and CBSE 12th Board Exams 2020 due to the increasing novel coronavirus caes in the Country. The students will the CBSE 10th results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020 on the basis of the exams already conducted as well as the assessment scheme proposed by the Board.
