The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the CBSE result 2020 date for Class 10 and 12. After announcing the cancellation of the CBSE Board exams 2020, the board decided to release the CBSE result 2020 Class 10 and 12 by July 15, 2020. However, the latest reports suggest that the Board is planning to release the CBSE Results 2020 before July 15. The exam enrolment data suggest that around 30 lakh students are waiting for CBSE result 2020. When will CBSE declare CBSE 10th 12th result 2020?

According to the CBSE 10th Date Sheet 2020, the CBSE 10th Board Exams were conducted from February 15 to February 18. The CBSE 12th Date Sheet 2020 suggests that the 12th board exams CBSE were supposed to be concluded by March 30. However, the sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country and the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the virus postponed a few exams. Due do a constant increase in the number of positive COVID-19 cases, the Board decided to cancel the pending papers and release the CBSE Result 2020. Students waiting for CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th Results 2020 must know that the board will release the CBSE Results 2020 by July 15. However, the latest reports suggest that the Board is planning to release the CBSE Results 2020 before July 15.

CBSE Fake Notice

On July 9, 2020, a fake notice started surfacing over the internet claiming that CBSE 10th results 2020 will be announced on July 11 and CBSE 12th Results 2020 will be declared by the Board on July 13 at 4 PM. However, soon the Board released official confirmation that the notice circulating over the internet claiming CBSE Results 2020 Date and Time is FAKE.

CBSE Results 2020 Assessment Scheme

CBSE cancelled the pending CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th board exams after a group of parents filed a plea in the Supreme Court demanding the cancellation of the postponed exams. Several exams of CBSE got postponed due to the sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country. Later, MHRD announced revised dates for the pending board exams. The Pending CBSE 10th 12th board exams were scheduled to be conducted between July 1to July 15. However, with the steep increase in the COVID-19 cases in India, the concerns among the parents also increased. Soon, the demand regarding the cancellation got the pending exam cancelled. 

Now, CBSE decided to release the CBSE 10th 12th results 2020 on the basis of internal assessment. According to the scheme approved by the SC, CBSE will be using an assessment scheme where students will be marked on the basis of highest scoring subject for which the exams have already been concluded to release CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Results 2020.
