Students who are not happy with their results can apply for verification of marks through the official website of CBSE. Check the last date to apply for CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th verification of marks process.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which had announced the CBSE 12th Results 2020 on July 13 and CBSE 10th Results 2020 on July 15 will be starting the verification of marks application process for CBSE 10th from today i.e. July 20, 2020. CBSE 12th students must note that the Board has started the verification of marks application process for them on July 17, 2020 and will be closing the window tomorrow i.e. July 21, 2020. Students who are not happy with their results and want to apply for the verification of marks through the official website of the Board i.e. cbse.nic.in.
The last date to apply for CBSE Result 2020 verification of marks for CBSE 10th is on or before July 24, 2020. Students will require to pay Rs 500 as application fees for each subject they want verification to be done. The application fee is same for verification of answer sheets of CBSE 10th Results 2020 and CBSE 12th Results 2020.

CBSE Class 10th 12th Result 2020: Verification of marks
- CBSE will only check the answer sheets for totalling errors and will also check if any question has not been marked by the teacher.
- The result of verification of marks will be done in the following ways:
- The result of verification of marks will be uploaded on CBSE's website.
- In case there is a change in marks, a letter will also be sent to the students by Speed Post/e-mail by concerned Regional Office of CBSE.
- In case, where there is no change of marks, no letter will be sent by CBSE, however, it will be available on the website.
- Applicants are advised to visit CBSE's website for the status of verification requests.
3. Only those candidates who apply for verification of mark online will be eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheets of those subjects.
4. Incomplete/offline applications will be summarily rejected without any correspondence with the candidate.
5. Obtaining Photocopy of Evaluated Answer Books:
- CBSE Class 10th: August 4 to August 5, 2020. The student needs to pay Rs. 700 per answer book
- CBSE Class 12th: August 1 to August 2, 2020. Rs 700 to be paid per answer book.

- Go to the official site of CBSE at cbse.nic.in.
- Click on Schedule for Verification of Marks apply online link.
- You will be redirected to a new page
- Enter your roll number, school number and enter centre number and click on proceed
- Subjects you have appeared for which be displayed
- Select the subject you wish to apply for verification of marks
- You will be re-directed to pay the processing fee of Rs 500
- Complete the payment using the Debit Card/ Credit Card
- CBSE would share an application number. Save this application number as all future reference and process would require this number.
