The Karnataka board has not yet released the Karnataka SSLC exam pattern 2024. Students will have to answer essay-type questions and give detailed answers, as against multiple choice questions (MCQs) that were introduced during the pandemic. The question paper format of SSLC examination from 2019-2020 is expected to be followed in the current academic year (2023-24), without any changes in the level of rigour. In 2022-23, the board followed the exam pattern which was followed before the pandemic. The board will release the Karnataka SSLC exam pattern 2024 on the official website.

As per a TOI report, According to the information given under the Right to Information (RTI) Act filed with the Department of School Education and Literacy, Union Ministry of Education and then transferred to NCERT, a total of 28 agencies of 23 states have been granted the right to publish NCERT books in the academic session 2020-21. In the reply given to the RTI filed by a Prayagraj-based journalist, public information officer of NCERT Ranjana Arora has informed that at present, teaching in 23 states is being done from books of NCERT.
These include states of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Goa, Tripura, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana and Mizoram that have implemented NCERT books right from class 1 onwards.
