The Bihar Education department has asked all its officers and concerned directorate and subordinate to start work from today while maintaining all the guidelines issued by government to contain the coronavirus.
The Bihar Education department will start work around all its offices and concerned directorate and subordinate offices from today, as per the reports.
With this move, it is expected that the work related to the board examination in the state will also resume. Earlier, Anand Kishore, President, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) had informed that the Board has postponed the evaluation process for the class 10 answer sheet until May 3, owing to the extension in the lockdown period in the country.
Before the lockdown was announced in the first phase, the Board had released the BSEB Class 12 or Intermediate examination results for all the streams; Arts, Science and Commerce.
This is the second time that the Board has postponed the evaluation process of BSEB Class 10 answer sheets. Earlier, when the lockdown was announced in March, the evaluation process was postponed until April 14.
The BSEB 10th results are expected to be released on the official portal of the Board at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in as and when it is ready.
"All Bihar government departments will start functioning from April 20 with all government officers of Group A and B will be present in the office on all working days while 33 percent of Group C employees and those on the contract will be present in the office of their total strength," stated the order released by General Administration Department (GAD).
As per the order, all officers and government employees have been asked to follow the national guideline issued to contain COVID-19. Those who are coming to the office have been asked to wear masks, use sanitizer and practice social distancing.
