Delhi schools to reopen for Classes 9 and 11 from February 5

Delhi schools will reopen for Classes 9th and 11th from next Friday, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced.

Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia announced that Delhi schools will be opened for Classes 9 and 11 from February 5. Colleges, degree and diploma institutes will also be allowed to open. The schools will train students for practicals and conduct the annual examinations thereafter.

All institutions will have to follow COVID19 safety protocols and students will have to bring consent slips from their parents.

Earlier this month, Delhi schools for classes 10^th and 12^th were opened for students on January 18. The CBSE 10^th, 12^th exams 2021 are scheduled between May 4 and June 10 and the practical examinations will begin from March 1. The detailed CBSE datesheet 2021 will be released on February 2.

Students preparing for the board exams must go through the entire CBSE syllabus that has been reduced for the academic session 2020-21 by 30 percent. They must also download and solve the sample papers released by the board to get familiar with the exam pattern and the type of questions asked in the exams.
