GSEB HSC Results 2020 likely to be declared by June-end; check details here

The evaluation process of the SSC and HSC papers were completed in May. The exam was deferred in mid-April due to the lockdown. The post-evaluation process will be completed soon, following which the results of SSC, HSC (general stream) exams will be released this month.

GSEB SSC, HSC General Result 2020 Date: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) decided to announce the result of Secondary School Certificate (SSC), class 10 examination i.e. GSEB SSC Results 2020, and Arts and Commerce of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations i.e. GSEB HSC Results 2020 this month. According to media reports, Chairman AJ Shah revealed that the Gujarat Board will take another 15 to 20 days to announce GSEB HSC Results 2020. The Board Chairman said, “The evaluation process of the HSC papers were completed in May. The exam was deferred in mid-April due to the lockdown. The post-evaluation process will be completed soon, following which the results of HSC (general stream) exams will be released this month.” Earlier, though the chairman said that the GSEB HSC Results 2020 will be released in the first week of June. While the GSEB HSC Results 2020 is yet to be released in the next few days, GSEB SSC Results 2020 will be out tomorrow i.e. June 9 at 8 am.

Over 11 lakh students appeared for the GSEB 10^th Board Exam 2020 which was concluded on March 17 according to the GSEB 10th Time Table 2020. Once released, the GSEB SSC results 2020 and GSEB HSC Results 2020 will be available at gseb.org.in.

Earlier, GSEB released the Gujarat Board HSC class 12th Science result on May 17, and a total of 71.34 per cent of students cleared the GSEB HSC Exam 2020 successfully. As per rules, to pass the GSEB HSC exam, students will have to score at least a D grade in every subject as well as overall. Those who score E grade will have to appear for supplementary exams.

How to check GSEB HSC Results 2020/ GSEB SSC Results 2020 online

Once released, students who appeared for the GSEB 10^th and GSEB 12^th board exams can check their 10^th, 12^th board exams results 2020 on the official website of the Gujarat Board i.e. ‘gseb.org’ following the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of Gujarat Board. gseb.org
• On the home page, enter 7 digit seat number in the input field
• A new page will open
• The page will be redirected to GSEB SSC, HSC results 2020
• Download or take a print out of the result for future use

How to check GSEB HSC Results 2020/GSEB SSC Result 2020 via SMS

Students can also check their Gujarat Board 12^th Results 2020/Gujarat Board 10th Result 2020 via SMS. For the same, they can follow the steps mentioned below:

• Open SMS application on your mobile phone
• Type an SMS in the following format: SSCSeatNumber/ HSCSeatNumber
• Send it to 56263.
• GSEB SSC result 2020/GSEB HSC results 2020 will be sent as an SMS on the same number.

Students must note that the GSEB 10th Results 2020/ GSEB 12^th Results 2020 available online or via SMS is for informational purposes only. Students are advised to collect the GSEB 10th original marksheet and passing certificate from their respective school offices. 

Gujarat Board Result 2020: Total number of students

This year, around 16 lakh students appeared for Gujarat Board exams, out of which around 6 lakh appeared for the 12^th board exams of GSEB and the rest for 10^th board exams of GSEB

Gujarat Board SSC and HSC exams were conducted between March 5 and March 21 this year. However, the 10^th board results and 12^th board results got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown imposed after March 24, 2020. With reports, students waiting for 10^th board results 2020 and 12^th board results 2020 would not have to wait much longer.

GSEB HSC Science 2020 improvement tests online

Meanwhile, GSEB released the notification for the GSEB HSC Science 2020 improvement tests online. The Gujarat Board announced the GSEB HSC Science Results 2020 on May 17, 2020, on its official website i.e. gseb.org. Science stream students who were absent or could not pass the GSEB Class 12 Science Board Exams can apply for improvement tests online.
