ICSE Compartmental Exam 2020: Registration begins for ICSE 10th and ISC 12th improvement exams

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) officially commenced the registration process for ICSE 10th Compartmental Exam 2020 and ISC 12th Improvement Exam 2020.

ICSE Compartmental Exam 2020: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) officially commenced the registration process for ICSE 10th Compartmental Exam 2020 and ISC 12th Improvement Exam 2020. Students, who secured compartmental result in the ICSE Result 2020 and ISC Result 2020 declared in the month of July, are eligible to register for improvement exams. Meanwhile, candidates who want to appear for the compartmental/improvement exams need to register by September 22, 2020, via their respective schools.

According to the official details available in the notification released by CISCE, the board informed students that Compartmental and Improvement Exams will be held for the subjects for which the exams were cancelled due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Students who are not satisfied with the marks allotted on the basis of internal assessment to them for the subjects for which exams were not held; can also register for improvement exams.

ICSE / ISC Results 2020

This year, CISCE Results 2020 got delayed for almost three months. The CISCE Board announced ICSE Result 2020 for 10^th Class students and ISC Result 2020 for 12^th Class students on July 10, 2020. According to the details provided by the board, 99.33% students passed the ICSE board exams and 96.82% passed the ISC examination. A marginal improvement in the overall pass percentage of 0.79% and 2.02% is witnessed by the Class 10 and Class 12 Exam Results of CISCE Board over last year. Due to the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board decided not to release any merit list or toppers list for ICSE Result 2020 this year.
