Q:   Does Maharashtra State Board follow NCERT?

A:

Each board has its own advantages and disadvantages. They have a choice to follow each other’s curriculum. Yes, Maharashtra State Board follows NCERT books not whole but as a part of their curriculum.

Q:   How can I score 97% and above in Maharashtra SSC board exams?

A:

Scoring 97% and above in the Maharashtra 10th board exams requires consistent dedication and effective study habits. Here are some tips to help you achieve your goal:

  1. Time management: Create a study schedule that allows you to cover all subjects thoroughly while leaving time for revisions and practice tests.
  2. Understand the syllabus: Make sure you have a clear understanding of the entire syllabus and focus on mastering each topic.
  3. Practice previous years' question papers: Solving previous years' question papers can help you understand the Maharashtra SSC exam pattern and familiarize yourself with the types of questions asked.

Q:   How many marks do I need to pass the Maharashtra SSC 10 exam?

A:
According to the MSBSHSE board, you need to score 35 percent in order to pass the Maharashtra SSC exam. The Maharashtra SSC exam is equivalent to the CBSE Class 10 level. To pass the SSC exam, you must score at least 35% on both the theory and practical papers. You will be deemed unsuccessful and required to take the Supplementary Exam if your score is less than 35%. The passing grade is between 35% and 44%, and above this score, you get a grade as follows: 1. A score of 45% to 59% is considered second division. 2. A 60% and above is considered first division. 3. If your score is above 75%, you get a distinction.

Q: Congratulations on your result! How was your reaction after seeing the results? Did you score what you expected?

A: I was overjoyed to see my results!  While I was hoping for over 90%, scoring 94.2% feels incredible! The countless hours of studying really made a difference.        

Q: Please tell us something about your family background.
A: My dad, Prajit Khobrekar, works in a private firm, and my mom, Pragati Khobrekar, is a homemaker.

Q: Please tell me about the stream that you are targeting
A: I have a strong interest in science and problem-solving.  Right now, I'm exploring both options: pursuing pure science in XI & XII or opting for a diploma course in a technical field. I'm researching different career paths to make an informed decision about my future.

Q: What was your strategy to score above 95%?
A: Consistency and active learning were key to my approach. I created a detailed schedule allocating time for each subject based on its difficulty. I used various techniques like practice problems, mind maps, and group discussions. Regular breaks and a healthy sleep schedule were also crucial for maintaining focus and energy. I prioritized tackling subjects I found more challenging first. During breaks, I enjoyed sketching and listening to music to unwind.

Q:   How can I score above 90 percent in class 10th exam?

A:
In class 10, its not very hard to score above 90. You can easily get 100/100 in maths, 90+ in english and 95+ in computer. Have the attitude, "I just have to complete every single chapter for every single subject thoroughly." Just keep covering chapters after chapters and you will see yourself confident on the exam day. Do solve previous years question papers. This will surely help you increase your marks. All the best !!

Q:   Can I cover the whole syllabus for Maharashtra SSC examination 2025 if I start now?

A:

You must go through the Maharashtra 10th syllabus and exam pattern for all subjects. Segregate the chapter and plan your days ahead for covering each topic thoroughly. Get all your doubts cleared by your teachers and peers. Solve CBSE sample papers 2025 to know the kind of questions that have a good chance to get repeated.

Q:   What should be the last month prep strategy for Maharashtra SSC board exams?

A:

To score over 90 percent in Maharashtra board 10th board exams, you should finish your syllabus by December. Know the exam pattern well and start solving the previous years' question papers and sample papers too. Here are some tips to help you score over 90 in MSBSHSE exams:

A: My biggest motivators throughout this journey were my parents and teachers. My parents provided unwavering support and instilled a strong work ethic in me. My teachers were always available to clarify doubts and pushed me to achieve my full potential. I'd also like to extend my gratitude to my coaching instructors, Sir Raj Rane and Sir Sanket More, for their guidance throughout my SSC journey.

Q: What was your routine during the Maharashtra SSC board exam preparation?
A: I primarily focused on self-study with the help of my school resources.  However, for a few challenging topics, I did utilize like online lectures from subject experts and important books on previous question paper set.

Q: What are your future plans? Which career path are you aiming?

A: As mentioned earlier, I am planning to either take up plain Science or go for Diploma. I am yet to decide on it.

Q: What is your favorite subject?

A: Social Studies and Math are definitely my favorites.  I find the concepts in Social Studies fascinating, and I love the problem-solving challenges that Math presents.

Q: Are you planning to begin preparing for any entrance exam?

A: : I have no plans as such for an entrance exam yet.
Q: What is your dream college/institute?

A: It would be an honor to pursue my graduation from government polytechnic institution for diploma course.
Q: What are your future goals?
