The notification released by NIOS stated that: "this is the need of the hour as the special need learners or Divyang learns may not be able to travel. Some of the learners may also need scribes which is not possible with social distancing. It is also not convenient for some learners to wear a mask for a long duration during an examination. So these Class 12 students will be assessed based on project work/QABA. Soon the board will come up with a complete plan of implementation of this assessment scheme. It will include the guidelines to conduct, time duration, mode of submission and evaluation."
