The Telangana Board intermediate exams are further postponed due to the rising spread of the novel coronavirus. The TS Intermediate Board Exams 2020 for geography and language subjects were pending were postponed earlier due to the lockdown. Now, the dates of these pending TS inter board exams are further delayed until June.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) in a recent notice released the schedule of the pending exams. According to the revised TS Intermediate 2020 Date Sheet, the pending exams will be held on June 3. According to the notice, the exam will be held from 9 am to noon. Students must note that no new TS Intermediate Admit Card 2020 will be issued for these pending exams. The board also notified that the exam centres will also remain the same.

Meanwhile, the Telangana Board commenced the evaluation process of the TS class 12 board exam answer sheets on May 13. A total of 9,202 examiners evaluated the copies of the  TS Intermediate Board Exams 2020 on the first day. Earlier, the Education Minister of the state, P Sabitha Indra Reddy informed the media that the ministry gave a nod to release the TS Inter Result 2020 by mid-June, if necessary.

The board cleared that both the exam and evaluation process will be conducted following all the social distancing norms. The use of sanitisers and masks will also be allowed for both students and invigilators. According to the reports, a total of 9.65 lakh students appeared in the intermediate examination, of which 4.80 lakh students appeared for the first year and 4.85 lakh for the second year.

In order to pass, the students need to obtain a minimum of 35 per cent marks in Part-I English, Part-II second language and group subjects for 500 marks in the first year.
