UPMSP result 2024 soon: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is expected to announce the UP Board result 2024 class 10 and 12 anytime soon this week. The board will soon come up with an official UP Board result 2024 date and time. The exam authority will release the result for UP Board 10th examinations as well as the UP Board 12th exam online on its official website. Applicants will be able to check the UP Board 10th Result 2024 as well as UP Board 12th Result 2024 at upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in using their roll number and school code. What are the Passing Marks in UP Board High School?

Each State Board has its own minimum passing marks criteria. To clear the UP Board Class 10 examinations, students must know the UP Board High School passing marks. The UP Board exam evaluation is done on the basis of the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern. UP Board 10th Result mark sheet comprises grades for each subject based on the UP Board 10th grading system. Under CCE, all the theory exams carry a weightage of 70 marks while the practical and internal tests carry 30 marks. As per CCE evaluation criteria, if a student is unable to clear one subject except for Hindi, then they will be declared pass in UP Board 10th examinations.

If a candidate is unable to clear two subjects then they can appear in compartment examinations. But, if one is unsuccessful to clear 3 subjects then they can appear in only 3 subjects in the next academic year. UP class 10 passing criteria for both theory and practical exams are provided below:

1. In order to qualify the UP 10^th Board exams 2024, students must score a minimum of 33%. The UP Board passing marks 2024 for Class 10 is the same for all categories.

How to calculate UP Board Grade Point Average using percentage?

To calculate Grade Points, students must use the following formula:
CGPA Formula = Total of grade points obtained in subjects / Total number of subjects.

Candidate can calculate grade points for each theory subject using the table given below:

• After calculating grade point of each subject, add all the grade points.
• Divide the grade points with the total number of subjects and the final value obtained by calculation will UP Board GPA.

How to Calculate Percentage from GPA?

Students can follow the step mentioned below to calculate their percentage from GPA:

• Percentage obtained = CGPA X 9.5

For example, Percentage in Above Example = 7 X 9.5 = 66.5%

Passing Marks for UP Board Class 12

Candidates need to understand the UP board 12th grading system 2024 and know the UP Board passing marks 2024 for class 12. Described below are the UP Board passing marks 2024 that students should score to pass UP Board Class 12 examinations:

1. Minimum 33% of marks are required to clear the UP Board Intermediate examinations 2024
2. Also, the marks obtained in practical subjects, sports, and physical education are added to prepare the final result of UP Board Intermediate.

How to calculate the UP Board 12th GPA using percentage?

CGPA Formula = Sum of grade points obtained in subjects/number of subjects.

• First of all, candidates need to write grade points for each subject using the table given below.
• Now, add the grades points of all the subjects.
• Divide the calculated grade point with the number of subjects, and the final value will be the overall UP Board GPA.

Example to calculate UPMSP 12th GPA
