Apply to GOM for diploma in logistics and shipping
Good Ocean Maritime (GOM), a sister concern of Indian Institute of Logistics (IIL), has invited applications for professional diploma programme in logistics and shipping.
Course modules include international business management, fundamentals of logistics, introduction to shipping, customs procedures, warehousing and inventory management, stevedoring/freight forwarding and port operations, transportation and distribution management and port agency. Practical training includes dealing with port operations, inland container depot, container freight stations, warehouses, container terminals and air cargo complexes. GOM has signed several MoUs with 500 logistics and shipping companies, for the benefit of its students.
The institute is also encouraging women to join the industry, promoting avenues such as marketing, business development, R&D, finance and such.
