IIM Ahmedabad invites application for PGPX 2017-2018, last date Sept 12

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM A) is inviting applications for admission to its PGPX program. The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives is a one year, full-time program for professionals with a substantial years of work experience.

The residential program is designed exclusively to equip professionals with the latest/globally accepted management tools their by enhancing their skills.

Selection of candidates for the said course will be done in two rounds. The last date to submit application forms for Round 1 is September 12, 2016. Candidates can also opt for admissions in the second round. For Round 2 last date of application form submission is November 15, 2016.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates who wish to apply for the course, must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent
• Valid GMAT score
• The earliest acceptable GMAT test date for the two rounds are: Round 1- 11 September 2011 and Round 2 -14 November 2011
• The candidate should not be younger than 27 years as on as on March 31, 2017

Application process:

Interested candidates can apply for the course online. Below are the step to follow:

• To apply, the candidates would require a user ID, which can be obtained by logging on to the official website. Click on ‘Register’ tab.
• The candidates will be asked to furnish personal details, GMAT ID and other information after which, a user name and ID will be generated.
• The candidates will then have to fill up the online application form.
• The candidates must fill the form completely with correct details, as incomplete and faulty forms will be rejected.
• The candidates are advised to cross check the information saved before clicking the ‘submit’ tab as editing is not allowed once the form is submitted.  
• Copy of essential academic documents will be required to be submitted along with the form.

Note: No essays or letters of recommendation are needed at the time of submission of applications.

Admission process:

Admissions to IIM Ahmedabad’s PGPX program is granted on the basis of the following criteria:

• Academic performance and GMAT scores
• Personality: Bright, enthusiastic and aspirational
• Professional experience and future potential/plans
• Experience in handling teams and other leadership qualities.

Following the application process, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of academic performance and GMAT scores. Selected candidates will be then invited for interview at IIM-Ahmedabad where he will be judged on the basis of his/her personality, leadership quality and future plan.

Fee structure:

Total fee for the executive program is Rs 26.50 lakh. It includes tuition, books and course materials, accommodation and other facilities such as library, Wi-Fi, sports and service tax. International Immersion expenses ranging from Rs 2.0 to 2.5 lakh will be borne by students.
