IIM Ahmedabad launches ePGP course for professionals and entrepreneurs
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has recently launched an e-Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP) for junior,mid and senior level professionals and entrepreneurs.
The two-year programme has been launched in collaboration with Hughes Global Education as the technology partner and will be offered on Interactive Online Learning (IOL) platform.
The course in exclusively designed for junior, mid and senior level professionals to provided them with leadership skills to take their organizations towards greater success thus boosting their own careers. It all set to commence from June 2017.
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria of minimum graduation score of 50 percent can enroll through GMAT/CAT or the institute's IIM Admission Test (IAT) scores.
With over 800 hours of classroom instruction, the programme will follow two phase curriculum. In the first year, the curriculum will focus on equipping the candidates with latest skills and knowledge on various areas of management. In the second year, the candidates will be offered a range of electives to choose from; helping them in exploring and enhancing their managerial qualities further.
The ePGP programme will be a long duration diploma course with sessions delivered through Interactive Learning platform, class room based instruction, continuous evaluation, and mentored project work.
IIM Ahmedabad has also offers e-learning programmes in Quantitative Finance and General Management.
Practical Quantitative Finance: Financial Engineering using Python and QuantLib: The course is a 60 hour programme spread over three months and imparted online and over the weekends.
Accelerated General Management Programme: The 11-month programme is offered in collaboration with NIIT-Imperia-Centre for Advanced Learning Institute. The classes are conducted at the NIIT Imperia centres, with 4-day campus module twice in the year.
