IIT-Bombay Executive MBA program 2016: Last date of application June 15
Admission procedure for the 2016 batch of Executive MBA program offered jointly by IIT-Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis, is underway.
The program, modeled after Washington University's internationally recognized sister programs in the U.S. and China, was introduced last year in the Indian Institute of Technology’s Bombay campus. The institute is currently in the process of admitting students for the second (2016) batch.
IIT-Bombay and Washington University launches Executive MBA programme
Students who wish to take admission in the course can apply through an online form available on the official website of IIT-Bombay. The application process ends on June 15, 2016.
The 18-month program, costing Rs 36 lakh is designed for working professionals with minimum of seven years of experience (five years of managerial experience. This year the program is scheduled to commence from July 13, 2016.

The classes will be held four days per month, from Thursday morning through Sunday evening, in IIT’s Bombay campus. Towards the end of the program, students will be assisted by the institute in a two-week capston experience at Washington University in St Louis.
The documents that need to be furnished for admission as follows:
1.The application is to be electronically submitted along with a Commitment Letter, Recommendation For Admission Forms, copies of marksheets, and essays.
2.Two completed Recommendation for Admission Forms, preferably written by senior-level executives or immediate supervisors need to be furnished. For the self-employed, the recommendations may be completed by a colleague or a client you work with.
3.The aspirants are also required to submit Commitment/Sponsorship Letter from your organization which should describe your employer's understanding of the time required to complete the program and the organization's agreement, if any, for financial support. For the self-employed, a statement of self-commitment is necessary.
After the submission of all the supporting documents, a member of the Executive MBA Admissions team will contact the aspirant to schedule a personal interview with the Admissions Committee.
