International Management Institute Kolkata (IMI Kolkata), has completed its summer placement drive for PGDM 2019-21. An initiative of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, the institute grabbed the highest stipend of Rs 2 lakh for the two-month internship.
The institute’s summer placement drive witnessed the industry’s one of the best recruiters. IMI Kolkata received a total of 180 offers from over 39 recruiters including industry’s big names like Amazon, Max Life Insurance, JSW, Allied Blenders and Distillers, and Reserve Bank of India. Around 23 recruiters participated in the recruitment of IMI Kolkata for the first time. The list of first-time recruiters include companies like Outlook Group, Amazon, Dabur, Spencer’s, Exide Life Insurance, Dr Vaidya’s, Nephroplus, Jaro Education, Arohan Financial Services.
This year witnessed a surge in HR and operations domain with companies like TATA AIA Life, Peepal Consulting, Black Turtle, Amazon, CESC, and others. Brands like McVite’s, Bajaj Finserv, Exide Life Insurance, RelianceNSE 1.15% Retail, Kantar, IIFCL, Motilal Oswal, also participated in the recruitment process.
According to the reports, the batch received the maximum number of offers from the Retail and Market Research sector that absorbed almost 23% of the batch followed by offers from BFSI with 21%, E-Commerce 12%, Manufacturing 8%, FMCG 5%, and others. About IMI Kolkata
Founded in 2010, Indian Management Institute Kolkata started functioning with its Post Graduate Diploma in Management Programme in the year 2011. The course is currently accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). In 2017, the institute also got the approval from All India Council for Technical Education to launch a PhD level programme, Fellow Programme in Management.
