Mystory@Foram Dave: How I chose my course and college

For my graduation, my brother was searching for a good management college and finally zeroed in on Gujarat Law Society, Ahmedabad for BBA course. For my masters, I gave a common entrance test called GCET and on the basis of its score and choice filling, I got admission at Sardar Patel Education Campus (SPEC).

I could have also secured admission in a good college at Ahmedabad but at that time I was not aware about reshuffling after admission. Talking about choosing a subject, I chose Finance as a specialisation in my post-graduation. I always wanted to choose Finance but then I got confused with Human Resource as a specialization as I loved that subject and other related subjects. But then I realised that Finance is my core interest area so I chose Finance and also topped in my post-graduation course at college.

My college faculty at both UG and PG level were very supportive. They have nurtured me. They supported me in every situation and always motivated me.

At college, I participated in many extra-curricular activities like extempore, elocution and all. I also won prices for the same.

My college at the PG level used to encourage girls to participate in different events. Due to this, I participated in cricket matches for girls/women and we won the cup in this tournament also and I enjoyed playing cricket.

I would regret spending my college days in any other way. These years, 2009 to 2014, were the best time of my life!
