I failed in Physics in class 12. Even after clearing the paper later on, I realized that science was not for me. My natural strengths were leadership and communication so I eventually decided to pursue BBA from Laxmi Institute of Commerce, Sarigam.

How it all started

I was born and brought up in a small village of Valsad called Bhadeli. Though my mother Urmilaben Mukeshbhai Bhandari was pretty confident of my abilities, my father Mukeshbhai Bhandari was strict, well disciplined and tough who never applauded me personally. In my school and university I was honoured with multiple awards and accolades. My father’s hard work paid off and I was sent to London for management studies. I completes MBA from Kensington College of Business, University of Wales in 2012.

After returning from London, I started my career with Rajgreen Amusement Park Private Limited (Rajhans Group, Surat) as a Business Development Executive. I was promoted to Manager Marketing and Sales within 1.5 years of quick time and since then there has been no looking back for me.

I proved that defeat, defy and deny do not exist in my dictionary.

Struggles and success

However, the journey of life is not always smooth. I met with a severe brain stroke (paralysis) where I almost lost my voice and started to stammer and was unable to walk.

My family, friends and colleagues were shocked to see me in such a miserable condition. But eventually, I overcame it with my strength and determination and with the help of the prayers of my well-wishers.

After struggle and hard work of two months I regained my voice and motion in feet. My family, my wife Khyati Bhandari and my Physio played a very important role in my recovery.

I proved that defeat, defy and deny do not exist in my dictionary.

Today as an extrovert and dynamic marketing professional who heads the operations of Rs 2200-crore Group company, I can proudly say, “Half path of Success found in Construction and half Under Construction”.

Yes, I chose the right career. As a child, I wanted to be a doctor but failing in class 12 (Science stream) made me search for my real talent. I discovered management was my strength, hence I took my failure as a motivation for success. My tip to students is not to choose a career that is in demand or what others reckon, rather select your career according to your natural strength and abilities.
