Pay more for FMS Part time MBA

Get ready to pay more for part time FMS MBA from next academic session.

Faculty of Management Studies at Delhi University is all set to increase the fees for its two part time, and three full time programmes. It will come into effect from the next academic session. It is also proposed that the name of the programmes will also change. The duration will also be minimised to two years. These proposals are awaiting the approval of academic and executive councils.

It has been proposed to increase the fees of MBA (part time) and MBA (healthcare administration) to Rs 50,000 per annum from Rs 11,000. From now on, these courses will be known as MBA (executive) and MBA (executive) healthcare administration. The intake of students will also go down for one program. (Read more)

Currently, the intake of students is 232 for MBA (part time) course. After implementation of the plan; only 172 students will be absorbed. 42 students instead of 37 will get admission in case of healthcare administration course. As per a senior official, the faculty has accepted the projected changes. Around the world, the duration of the executive programmes is two years, and there is no sense in keeping it to three years.

Now the program will be more intensive and due to the reduction of the duration, there will be no dilution of the curriculum. As of now, part time program students must have 75% of attendance and will have to clear the courses within a period of four years.
