PGPpro- a weekend post-graduate management program launched by ISB

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has launched a weekend post-graduate management program, PGPpro. The program is beneficial for working professionals and entrepreneurs willing to attain a management degree.

Till now, ISB has never offered any off campus executive MBA programs. This is the first time MBA aspirants (working professionals and entrepreneurs) can get enrolled in executive MBA equivalent program. The program will be conducted on alternate weekends (over a period of 16 months) in Delhi and Hyderabad.

Admissions will be on a rolling basis. Candidates willing to enroll in the program must ensure that they fill in their applications by November 15, 2016. Applications filled in after this date will not be entertained by the officials.

The program, PGPpro has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of professionals in their mid-careers. By enrolling in the program, entrepreneurs and working professionals can take their respective careers to new heights. The curriculum of the program focuses on better understanding of management techniques. Also, along with imparting theoretical knowledge, the program will expose the attendees to the current practices of the industry – this will give them an overview of the challenges & opportunities that might come ahead of them in their career journeys. By having prior knowledge, individuals can effectively tackle challenges and make the best of opportunities available.

Candidates must note that PGPpro has been designed for professionals having a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 12 years of working experience. The focus of the curriculum is as follows:

Major in Strategy & Leadership
Minor in Finance or Marketing

Highlighting about the benefits of the program, Professor Dishan Kamdar, Deputy Dean, Academic Programs said that the program is a blessing for professionals who aim at pursuing full-time management program at ISB campuses, but are unable to do the same.
