Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) - Batch of 2021
4.4
5Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is a good college in terms of academics.
Placements: Most of the pass-out students are getting placements in well-known corporate hospitals, the health insurance sectors, consultancy companies, healthcare-related start-ups, etc. All the students are provided an internship. Aster, Manipal, Practo, People's Tree hospital, Star health, etc., are recruiting students.
Infrastructure: A good library with all the necessary books is available. Spacious classrooms with a projector are available. The remaining infrastructure needs a bit of improvement. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel food is average. It needs improvement. Sports and gaming facilities need to improve.
Faculty: We have experienced faculty members. They are helpful and approachable. Regular classes are there. Training is provided in well-known hospitals. Subjects are vast. The RGUHS examination pattern for Maharashtra is a bit tough. Scoring above-average marks in the university examinations is a bit difficult.
Other: I have a B.Sc. nursing background. The course will definitely improve my career prospects in the field of hospital administration. I could get an opportunity to work in other hospital departments like quality, marketing, operations management, accreditation, etc. This course will help me to explore various sectors related to the healthcare industry.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college experience.
Placements: Students are getting 100% placements. The average salary package is 3.6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Aster hospitals, Manipal hospitals, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Deloitte, Napier, People tree hospitals, Adithya Birla Health Insurance, Star Health, etc. are the top recruiters. Internships are done in prominent hospitals in Bangalore.
Infrastructure: College has well-equipped classrooms, library, computer lab, etc. There are separate hostel for boys and girls. Quality of the food is good. Hostel and college environment is good. There is a vaccination and medical facilities.
Faculty: College has experienced, supportive, very approachable, and helpful faculty. They monitor training activities and provide soft skill classes which are helpful for placements. There are field visits and attending conferences for better exposure to the healthcare industry. Exam pattern is a bit tough and the syllabus is vast.
Other: I am from B.Sc. Perfusion Technology. I like to switch to an administrative career and found Masters in Hospital Administration will give good opportunity to get into an administrative career. Our college is very good academically.
