Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) - Batch of 2023

Good infrastructure and focus on all round development of students.
Placements: 97 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered in my course are INR 5 LPA, INR 1.2 LPA, and INR 2.5 LPA. There is no recruiting company in the course, but you can go for walk-in interviews in schools for jobs. There will be an internship with the government school for 5 months, not with any company. The job role offered is that of a teacher.
Infrastructure: There are facilities for Wi-Fi, a library, classrooms, a seminar hall, a guest room, a science lab, an ICT lab, a sports room, an art and craft lab, a water cooler, and a music room as well. There are no hostel facilities in the college, but there is a canteen and a facility for chai and samosas only, as well as other junk food and drinks. Sports facilities are good; interhouse and intercollege games are organized every year; and medical facilities like first aid are also available in the college.
Faculty: The teaching quality is quite impressive, and all the teachers take classes on time and cover the whole syllabus according to schedule. Teachers are helpful and qualified enough, and every teacher has vast knowledge of their subject. The curriculum is as prescribed by the HPU and is teaching-related, so do not make students industry-ready. The exam level at the college is easy to moderate, and the minimum pass percentage for students is 40 percent. The result is always 100 percent, and no student fails an exam.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a teacher, and for that, a B.Ed. is compulsory. The best thing about the course is the time when you do an internship in the schools. You get in touch with the children and their raw lives and become their guide and teacher.

My experience of Adarsh College of education .
Placements: Placement of college is average. Yes, many companies visits every year for placements but their package is too less. The highest and average package of college is 7 lacks and 1.5 Lacs per annum. Our college does not offer any internships to students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good. All the facilities like electricity, classrooms, medical are available. Campus looks very beautiful. There are research labs, computer labs etc. But they are not well-equipped. There is no facility of Wi-Fi for students .
Faculty: Teachers of college are below average. They are always in hurry to cover the syllabus. They never think about student is understanding or not. There teaching method is not easily understandable. Course circulm does not make students industrial ready.
Other: Events like freshers, fest, farewell are organised here but they are student paid.

Honest review of Adarsh college of education by a student.
Placements: The placement record of this college is the worst. Only 20 percent of students get the placement every year. Even the smart students who have a CGPA above 9 don't have the placement. Only 4 or 5 companies visit the college for placement. Our college does not offer internships to any students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. There are well-furnished classrooms and a library. All necessary amenities, such as electricity and water supply, are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are well-equipped labs. There are limited sports facilities present.
Faculty: Teachers in college are average. Some teachers have good knowledge, but most of them don't. Also, the teaching method used here is not easily understandable for students. Teachers are always in a hurry to cover the syllabus. Course curriculum does not make students industry-ready.

Review of Adarsh College of Education.
Placements: Our college provided average placements. Around 50-60% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies visited our campus. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Internships were not provided.
Infrastructure: Our college provided good infrastructure. The campus looked beautiful. The atmosphere around the college was peaceful. Water, electricity, washrooms, etc., were available. Our classrooms were well furnished. The quality of the food in the canteen was good. Wi-Fi was not available.
Faculty: Our teachers were excellent and well-experienced. The teaching quality was good. They were helpful. They always tried to cover the syllabus as soon as possible. Semester exams were easy. You could score good marks by reading just before exams.
