AIMS Institutes MCA Eligibility & Highlights 2024

The college offers an AICTE-approved MCA programme which is affiliated to Banglore University. The programme is spread across six semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. The total seat intake for this programme is 60 students. Placements are not much good, and there is no fest because of Covid-19.

Placements: 3.5 to 4 LPA is the package offered. I had a good college experience with friends. Companies that for recruitment are low. Internships are available. 30% of the students got placed.

Infrastructure: The campus is average. The classrooms are good. The library is good. There are no sports and games. Medical facilities are not bad. The quality of food is bad. No Wi-Fi is available. I didn't visit the labs.

Faculty: The faculty members don't provide proper study materials. There are no events and fests. Industrial visits are not organised. There is no pool campus. Teachers are not helpful. If you want to enjoy life and are not so serious about studies, this college is recommended.

Other: There is no fest. Scholarships are available.

I'm very disappointed with the college. It needs a lot of improvement.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students of MCA. It's very sad that at the time of admission, one of the management persons told us that around 70% to 80% of the students get placed every year. But, the reality was exactly in contrast. None of the students in the MCA department was placed in the last 4 years. I'm very disappointed with the placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not as expected. The campus was too small. Only a small basketball ground was available. Classrooms, labs, and all the other facilities were not as expected. The auditorium and internet facilities were poor, but our college hostel was very good. Quality of food served in the canteen was good.

Faculty: I don't know about the faculty in other departments, but the faculty members in the MCA department were truly appreciable. They were very supportive. The department always stands for you. Faculty in our department conduct additional classes and many other activities. We have to pay some money for extracurricular activities every semester, but they don't organise any activities.

I will give a 9.5 out of 10 to the college, and it's excellent overall.

Placements: Placements in our college are conducted very nicely and organised by particular department in AIMS. Many companies are coming for providing placements to students, and many students achieved good placements in good companies with high salary packages. Job opportunities in this college are high, and many students get jobs during the placement drives.

Infrastructure: The institute provides high-quality facilities. The college provides good facilities in the classrooms like there are projectors in every classroom with a cool environment. There is a small clinic on campus, if any student is hurt, then he/she can visit the clinic.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very helpful to everyone in every aspect. They always listen to our problems either formal or informal. Their teaching style is very neat with good gestures and postures. They always support us in every problem, and they always teach easily so that students can understand very clearly and quickly. They give examples in each and every topic, and they find easy ways to provide knowledge. They always crack jokes so that student can refresh their mind during class.

AIMS helps you improve your mind and gain knowledge.

Placements: AIMS provides good placement opportunities, and our college provides the best placements. Last year, our seniors got good jobs in various companies like Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The salary packages offered are also very high like 4-8 lacs per annum was the minimum. So there are good placements in AIMS.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi facility is available in college, and there are 7-8 labs. There are one big library and a study room, and medical facilities are also available in our college. There is a playground in AIMS where you can play cricket, basketball, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in AIMS are highly educated and always communicate with each other. The teaching quality is very good, and they use the projector and board for teaching purpose. We didn't get any industry exposure, but our seniors got, and may we will also get the opportunity in future.

The college has good ambiance and provides the best facilities and placements.

Placements: The college provides the best training and placement programs for students at the end of their curriculum. The college assesses students based on their progress and makes sure that students are placed in the best companies. Every student in the final year is compulsorily provided with an internship.

Infrastructure: The college provides the best of facilities with a good ambience. The college conducts extracurricular activities, and there are the best lab facilities to ensure that students learn and understand the concepts in-depth. There are good medical provisions in case of emergency, and the college conducts national level fests.

Faculty: Teachers here are very dedicated and punctual as well. They concentrate and teach all the students ensuring that they learn every concept in depth. They even help students solve their personal problems. Teachers here are dedicated.

Other: The college celebrates all the festivals and events like freshers day, graduation day, cultural fests, and IT fests.

This is a good college to study and gain knowledge.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the average package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest package was around 1.8-2.0 LPA. Companies like Build Labs, Van Chemistry, Mobisys Technology, Tvashtri Technologies, etc., have visited the campus to offer placements. Roles like junior software engineer and trainee engineer are offered. Around 50% of our batch got placed through college. The stipend offered is Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month. The college has a placement cell.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, Apple lab, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games facilities are provided. Labs are good. Classrooms are good and are equipped with audio-visual aids. Canteens are available, and the food provided is average. I am a day scholar. I didn't face any issue regarding the infrastructure of our college during my tenure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well experienced in their subjects. Their way of teaching was excellent, and the teaching methodology used was understandable. Students get practical knowledge. The college organises industrial visits regularly, focuses more on additional skills and provides additional knowledge. The course curriculum is very useful and is as per the current corporate scenario.
