This national moot court competition's goal is to provide students experience with practical information so they may improve their mooting abilities and prepare them to confidently handle real-life courtroom scenarios. Students must know the strategies for persuading a judge in a courtroom and delivering their cases with clarity and plain language. The students receive genuine guidance on how to approach the given scenario in a trial by presenting their arguments in front of the best members of the legal profession. It is crucial for law students to be informed of contemporary developments and methods in the field of mooting and to acquire these skills.

The hands-on experience students acquire from competing in moot court contests can only bring out the best in them and aid in their transformation and holistic development in preparation for their future as legal professionals in various national and international venues. Therefore, Asian Law College is thrilled to invite the team participation from the law students for the 4th National Moot Court Competition 2023 and is looking forward to seeing a great and healthy competition. This will provide a handful of students visibility.

Novice Moot Court Competition 2022

A novice is someone who is inexperienced and fresh to something. To prepare our new law students who are entering the legal profession, the ALC offers rookie moot court competitions. This contest was put on for the LLB 2021 and BALLB 2021 batches. The Asian Law College Moot Court Committee holds workshops before the competition to instruct students on the art of mooting and to get them ready for all aspects of mooting, such as memorial drafting and oral arguments. Then, pupils nominate themselves to join a team of three students apiece. There were four rounds of the competition: the preliminary round, the quarterfinal round, the semifinal round, and the championship round. Students' fervour and commitment to the sport make it enjoyable for spectators as well. That way it works as a learning experience for participants, non-participants, student volunteers etc. Keeping in mind the strict preparation, the committee invites practising advocates to judge the event. Later winning team gets an opportunity to participate in the external moot court competitions, so this competition works as practising ground for the bigger events.

It is the best college for studies, and faculty members are excellent.

Placements: Placement rate is not good. In this course, there is only a 1% chance of placement, and the same goes for other courses. Students also complain about not getting placements of their choice. Don't rely solely on the college for placement, focus on developing talent.

The highest placement of last year was about 3.60 LPA.

The infrastructure and cleanliness is top notch. The faculty is educated and supportive.

Placements: Placement is low at asian law college there are few assosiations that recruit students like luthra and luthra and in other courses like mother dairy etc. But college provides diplomas without charging extra fees to all students. The average package for law is 4.2-6L per annum.
