M.Tech. in Molecular Medicine - Batch of 2020

Yes, go for this college it's so good.
Placements: At Amrita Vidyapeeth, the placement is 95%. This college is comparable to IITS, NITS, and DTU. This was one of the best colleges in Kerala last year; the highest package goes to INR 35 lacs. And that, with its branch and the lowest package, was INR 18 lacs, so the average package here is around INR 15 lacs.
Infrastructure: The course is amazing. You will have to work mostly in the laboratory on several projects. You have to make so much analysis that there will be 40 experiments in total. So you have to work a lot for the exam. The overall infrastructure of the college is so good. You have so many things to learn. As classes goes on virtually also.
Faculty: The faculty is cream. Just amazing teachers you have who are always there to help you with any problem you have; they are all graduates of IITs, and some are from IIM. They will give you notes on a regular basis. You prepare yourself for the industry. They will help you a lot.

B.Sc.(Hons.) with Research in Molecular Medicine - Batch of 2025
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Best lifescience and Nanotech research in India.
Placements: I have not graduated yet, so no one in my batch has been placed. We had an industrial visit to Merck Life Sciences where they asked students to submit their CVs. They also assured us that they would bring in recruiters from companies if we are interested in securing a job after our degree. The placement cell is very dedicated and sends us details of internship and placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The ASNSMM R&D facility is within the Amrita Hospital, which makes it even more convenient to receive patient samples for research. Our department has state-of-the-art facilities for Medical and Nano Research. Free Wi-Fi, clean washrooms, and water dispensers are available in classrooms and on the research floor. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, screens for projectors, speakers, microphones, and separate whiteboards. Each class can accommodate more than 100 students. Hostel facilities are available separately for boys and girls. Each hostel room can accommodate three students and is assigned according to roll number, but we are free to rearrange later. Free Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, and five washing machines are available in undergraduate hostels. Other amenities like a coffee shop (open until 11 PM), gym, and top-notch medical facilities are also available since the hostel is located inside the hospital compound. Medical services are provided 24/7.
Faculty: The faculty at Amrita is the best. The research at ASNSMM is led by top scientists in the field. The Dean, Dr. Shantikumar V Nair, is among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. The teaching quality is top-notch because each module is taught by a scientist who works in that field. The B.Sc. (Hons.) degree offered by Amrita is the best in India because it opens numerous opportunities for its students, from pursuing an M.Sc. or a job to directly pursuing a Ph.D. after undergraduate studies. Students with this degree are eligible for anything the field has to offer, unlike a 3-year degree course. The final year includes a dissertation project in a lab of your choice, which is equal to or better than an internship. The training provided at Amrita is excellent and prepares you for both industry and academia. Third-year students have a six-month project, project report, and project presentation along with theory exams. Fourth-year students have theory and project work with thesis submission. Students can even publish their work if their project is completed.
Other: Lifesciences and Research is a booming sector. I have been interested in studying the mechanisms of diseases forever and have finally reached the best place in India to achieve that dream. We celebrate everything here, and the campus is safe. However, the campus does have its downfalls being within a hospital compound. We cannot openly conduct concert events outdoors, but we do have a sports ground and a stage for big events. Sports and Arts fests are conducted every year with full zest.

For an aspiring researcher this is the best choice although food can be a problem.
Placements: One person got a position of physician assistant as it is a new course and is based on research people tend to do further studies and finish their Ph.D. degree but people have had a 6 Lacs per month packages in korea as well. Several. People have been pursuing in M.Sc. Molecular medicine in same college. This course have a huge value in foreign countries.
Infrastructure: We have computer labs, huge library with study space and individual high teach labs for all research fields like cell culture, neurology, microbiology, stem cell, and so on. It gives you so much exposure to advanced technologies that are very expensive and difficult to find. Although food is a bit of a problem it is not that bad.
Faculty: All the professors are Ph.D. graduates with very high experience in foreign countries. It is a very interesting course with several domains and we have a project to do at the final year as well!we have periodical exams every month and a semester exam with lab practical finally. Exams are managable and you will learn to handle stress at the end of the course.
Other: Lab facilities are excellent. Since it is a new course the first year did not have much celebrations but this year we had sports fest arts fest onam and christmas celebration and so on.
